Gran has always been nervous about the prospect of a care home, but since arriving at Grove Parl, she’s settled and so happy. She calls me every day to tell me how much of a wonderful time she’s having. Gran was originally staying for respite but decided to stay at Grove Park permanently she feels so safe and cared for.

I can not thank Grove Park enough for the care and compassion shown towards my mum. She’s so happy with her new friends, there are lots of things for her to do and enjoy. The food is delicious and plentiful.

I would not hesitate to recommend Grove Park at Meanwood.
My father was well cared for and enjoyed his 7 months there.
I was listened to when I had any concerns and they were dealt with by staff or management promptly.
Entertainment was good for those who wished to attend.
The cleanliness of the home was amazing.
We were always welcomed and in the last few days staff went above and beyond.

From the moment I walked into Grove Park it felt friendly, welcoming and just the environment I was looking for to care for my increasingly frail dad. Many of the team here have worked there for years and have other family members working at the home too. The whole place is kept very clean and well-aired. The activities team arrange so many daily activities that residents can choose to join in if they wish. Food is varied and plentiful. The outside patio is a wonderful place to sit when the weather permits. The coffee shop is a popular place for residents to meet and chat or take part in bingo, quizzes and various other activities. Outside entertainers coming into the home regularly – such as singers, piano players – really get the residents engaged. The main difference, for me, with Grove Park is the people who work there. Such a caring, lovely team. I don’t think I’d have found anywhere better in Leeds for Dad’s final months.

My gran moved into Grove Park Care Home on a respite basis, she settled in amazingly. She has always declined to go into a care home. My gran loved the care team and treated them as her own grandchildren, always hugging them. She said there is always something to do. The activities are amazing and the care she received was amazing she was very well cared for and would definitely be returning in due course. Amazing Grove Park team.
