The festive afternoon tea offered to residents and friends/family exceeded expectations and was enjoyed by us all. The attention to detail was second to none and the food was lovely.
We are all very impressed by the quality and friendliness of the staff. Having dedicated nursing care on site is reassuring for relatives and residents.

My friend for whom I am a welfare carer has been a resident for four years.
I have given a review in the past and before lockdown so, it seems appropriate to update it.
I cannot fault the standards of the staff at all levels. The quality of the care. The social entertainment especially picnic teas in the garden and wonderful afternoon Christmas teas.
The staff deal with all sorts of problems and, they do so with a smile.
If you are reading this review and you have a family member that finally needs care please consider this or any other of the four Lindamann Homes in Edinburgh.
I am confident the food etc is acceptable. I have joined for two meals in the past and they were fine.

My mother, who has dementia, has been in Morningside Manor for almost five years and has just celebrated her 100th birthday. This length of stay is a testament to the quality of care she has received. The staff go out of their way to look after her and even organised a wonderful party in the home so that the family could celebrate her milestone birthday with her. We could not be happier with our choice of care home.

Our mother has recently moved in. In a few weeks, she has settled in well. She has been made to feel at home, and her personal and medical needs are being met to an excellent standard. We are delighted that she is enjoying some of the wide range of activities on offer and is less isolated than she was before. We have found the staff to be very helpful in dealing with any queries we have had. We are very pleased with our choice of Morningside Manor and feel confident that our mother is being well looked after.

My sister is a resident at Morningside Manor. It is fair to say that we are the two surviving members of our family. As her older brother and as she was born handicapped I am particularly keen to do all that I can, to ensure her happiness. However, I have lived and worked in England, with my own family for over 40 years. This pandemic has meant that I haven’t been able to visit my sister for over a year. Even now as we are lowering our guard ever so slightly, I cannot cross the border, it is all very sad. However, not in my wildest dreams could I have envisaged the care and help from every member of staff at Morningside Manor. I owe everyone a huge hug and perhaps the odd bottle of Prosecco. I phone my sister constantly, and cannot believe how happy she is, that happiness comes from being safe and secure, and is priceless. I and many others have heard countless horror stories of severe problems in care homes all over the UK, but not at Morningside Manor. I cannot wait to visit my sister and thank you!
