My auntie was a resident at Cedar View from April 2023 until December 2023 when she sadly passed away. During her short time at Cedar View, the care she was given was above what we could have ever imagined. She was looked after so well and not only did the staff at Cedar View look after my auntie, they looked after us as a family too. We cannot be more thankful. Cedar View really go above and beyond for the residents and their families, and even though my auntie was nursed in bed for quite a few months, the activity department ensured that she was still engaged with on a daily basis like they did with all residents. During her final weeks, everyone went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and staff bought us cups of tea and refreshments continuously through this time. I couldn’t recommend Cedar View enough to anyone looking for a 5-star care home. Thank you to everyone who helped us as a family and for looking after our lovely auntie.

My mother lived at Cedar View for the last three months of her life. During her stay there, the care given to her by the manager and deputy manager and their team was exemplary. I cannot praise them enough. They were kind, thoughtful, efficient and professional in everything that they did.
Under their care, mum was eating and drinking better and was no longer lonely and bored, as she had been at home.
Her room was always clean and was well furnished and, when she was confined to her bed with illness, the extra touches supplied by the staff to keep her surroundings interesting were very thoughtful.
She very much enjoyed the activities provided and joined in with far more than we would have expected of her. Their thoughtfulness even extended to us, Mum’s family. We were always kept well-informed of all that was going on and even on one occasion when my wife and I had travelled a long way to visit were provided at their insistence with sandwiches.
We cannot recommend them too highly.
