The wonderful friendly care my mum is receiving has seen her change from a very frail, lonely, confused and frightened lady. Now she is looking so much healthier having gained weight and her appetite. Though her dementia-related confusion will never get better, her whole demeanour is much more cheerful and she looks forward to her carers reliable, regular visits. Mum’s dementia means her needs are regularly assessed and agreed by mum, carer and family in a relaxed friendly manner. Mum’s carer(s) have now become family friends.
