My husband has been in Hallamshire and I am very happy with every aspect of his care. He is treated with respect and dignity. All personal care is discreet and sensitive. Staff are simply ‘the best’. Nothing is too much trouble. Meals are first class and homecooked. Management is approachable and naturally friendly and relatives are kept well informed. Rooms are immaculately clean, with lovely bed linen, towels and excellent laundry service. Brilliant varied activities programme, dedicated staff who pull out all the stops. Beautiful gardens. Thank you for all your support.

My mum came to Hallamshire in December 2022. Since the beginning of her time here, the staff have been incredibly kind and compassionate towards her, taking her to their hearts and doing their best to get to know her, despite her speech, language and hearing difficulties. The activities at this home are absolutely outstanding and my mum was eagerly participating in many activities she had never done before, including indoor golf, until the day before she had a stroke, at 99. The care she has received since this massive increase in her frailty and disability has been of the highest standard, practically, physically, and emotionally. It is a huge comfort to know she is in such safe and caring hands.

I’ve not seen my friend for some time, due to covid, but I managed to visit just after Christmas. I was made to feel very welcome by the staff. My friend loves the home, enjoys her food and loves all of the staff. She said they are all so friendly. The home is very clean, we went to her room, and I noticed that it was very clean, and smelt clean. My friend also enjoys the activities they provide, she says she doesn’t want to join in all activities but enjoys watching.

My mother has been a resident for nearly two years. During that period the staff have been wonderful. She has been seriously ill and their care and consideration for her and for her family has been outstanding. When she is well they try very hard to combine the best physical and mental care to give her the very best quality of life.

My relative stayed at this care home for a recent respite stay. I found the admission process very easy. Excellent communication from the home manager, and all round fantastic care given. I would not hesitate for my mother to return to this home if need be.
