My Mother has been a resident here since March 2022. During this period the staff have been friendly, caring and supportive to her and the family whenever we visit. She is well-fed, has made friends and is comfortable in the environment. There is regular enrichment for residents and families are encouraged to participate in fundraising activities and fun days. We made the right choice for Mom when faced with the difficult decision that we could no longer care for her ourselves.

What a fabulous place. My mother has vascular dementia. She was angry and frightened, but as soon as she moved into Newbridge House she felt safe, happy and she had a purpose in life. No longer were days looming in front of her. She very rarely uses her room, preferring to spend her time in the communal areas with all of the friends she has made. The staff are very caring and lovely and we experience this every time we visit. Nothing is too much trouble and my mother has told us that she can do anything she wants to. She no longer feels as though someone is stopping her from doing what she wants. She obviously can’t do what she wants but she truly believes that she can. This demonstrates the care and attention shown by the staff. It was the best decision we made for her. She still comes out with us but is keen to get back to her home and friends. She is living her best life. Fabulous place, thank you.
