Helen, the guiding force behind Personal Care Specialists, boasts an impressive tenure of over 28 years in the care industry, having experienced the sector from every vantage point.
Starting her career as a carer, Helen has diligently worked her way up through all levels, culminating in her current roles. In 2009, her expertise was formally recognised when she obtained her Registered Managers Award (RMA), further showcasing her commitment to excellence in care.
With a rich history of managing home care services for a variety of providers, Helen’s role involves overseeing the operation of all care services to ensure compliance with the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) standards and legislation.

Having home care help my mum has been a real life changer for me. What they do for her I was trying to do whilst managing a business, my own home and looking after a small baby. My mum who is 96 has been receiving care visits from the Personal Care Specialists for some time now and at all times we have found all the girls who visit her to be smartly dressed, caring, patient, thoughtful, knowledgeable and professional. Visits are generally on time, however, emergency situations sometimes arise and when they do I am usually contacted by phone to make me aware that they will be late. I do not have to contact the office often, but when I do everyone is very polite, friendly, helpful and wherever possible accommodating.
