Job Description

We are looking for a flexible and compassionate carer to support a 50-year-old man with paralysis, working a minimum of 30 hours per week across varying shifts (8am–8pm full days, or shorter 8am–2pm / 2pm–8pm). Duties include medication, personal care, bowel and catheter care (training provided), hoist transfers, meal prep, and feeding support. The client is active, uses a motorised wheelchair, and enjoys a relaxed, friendly home environment. Experience is preferred but not essential, as training and shadow shifts are provided. Rotas are planned in advance with fair weekend rotation and a request system for time off. A PR check and excellent English are essential. Permanent contract offered after a two-month probation, with holiday entitlement and pension included.
