We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants for bank staff or permanent roles in the Southampton area, with a preference for candidates with extensive experience in domiciliary care, mental health support, and complex needs. Responsibilities include medication supervision, facilitating activities, supporting clients with appointments, performing domestic tasks, cooking, and providing full support for daily living activities. You will assist individuals in maintaining independence within their homes or supported living environments, enhancing life skills, self-confidence, emotional well-being, and mental health. The role involves monitoring and reporting any changes in physical or mental health, as well as ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months’ care experience, a caring nature, good communication skills, reliability, flexibility, and provide all relevant training certificates.
