Companion/Carer Required

Job Description

We are seeking a companion/carer to support a 19-year-old young lady with cerebral palsy during the 2025 summer holidays in Aldworth, RG8 9RL (about 30 minutes from central Reading). She is a wheelchair user, communicates using an eye gaze system, and needs full assistance with all physical needs, including eating and drinking. She is very social and active, and you will work alongside her existing holiday companion/carer to help her enjoy a fulfilling summer. The role is from 23 July to 9 September, offering up to 40 hours per week depending on planned activities and your availability. A driver is preferred to drive her WAV for outings, and a swimmer is ideal as she loves swimming and has a pool at home. Live out is preferred but live in while working will be considered.
