Domiciliary Carer Needed for Elderly Sister

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable domiciliary carer to provide care and support for my elderly sister in her own home. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for caring for the elderly, excellent communication skills, and a respectful and patient attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with medication management
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
• Accompany to medical appointments and social activities
• Offer emotional support and companionship
• Monitor and report any changes in health or behaviour to the family

Requirements:

• Previous experience in elderly care is preferred
• Relevant care qualifications or training
• Valid UK work permit or right to work in the UK
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a caring nature
• Ability to travel to and from the client’s home
