Live-in-carer Required
Job Description
I am currently seeking a care professional to provide live-in care seven days a week for a tall gentleman in his mid-30s, who is awaiting discharge. He has a severe acquired brain injury (ABI) which has led to cognitive and communication difficulties and is wheelchair dependent. The care required includes companionship, continence support, cooking, housekeeping, medication, and comprehensive personal care (washing, bathing, hair & makeup). He is doubly incontinent and requires the use of suppositories each morning. Due to his condition, he needs support with all activities of daily living, including managing his home. Additionally, he requires assistance with feeding and medication management. It is important to note that he does not exhibit any challenging behaviour.
