Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated live-in support worker to join our team at a Care Home in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine passion for helping others and can offer a high level of care and empathy.
Job Description:
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with medication management
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities with residents
- Assist with mobility and ensure safety within the care home
- Accompany residents to medical appointments and social activities
- Work collaboratively with the care home team to provide the best possible care
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Relevant care qualifications or willingness to undergo training
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to live in the care home and provide 24/7 support
- DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Valid UK work permit
