Personal Assistant Required (Referral)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Assistant (PA) to support a young adult with autism, mental health, and anxiety conditions. The role requires 7-day support, with visits at morning, lunch, and teatime, and the ideal candidate must have experience in autism and mental health care, demonstrating compassion, patience, and strong organizational skills. Responsibilities include companionship care, medication prompting, personal care assistance, support with appointments, and encouragement to access the community with an assistance dog and solo outings. Additional duties involve prompting day-to-day tasks from a list, admin support, and helping organize appointments. A driver’s license is essential to facilitate community engagement and transport to appointments. This role is socially funded and requires someone who understands the unique needs and requirements of individuals with autism, anxiety, and mental health issues.
